This week has been very eventful. I accepted an offer for another internship next quarter and by the grace of God passed a midterm in a psychology class that I have been stressing about. It was also my father’s birthday so I spent a good deal of time with my family celebrating his awesomeness. It was great to spend quality with him at the UCLA vs USC football game this past weekend. Even though my Bruins lost 😔 sharing my last home football game as an undergrad with my father is a memory I will always cherish.
Now that it is Monday its time to refocus on the week ahead. Thursday happens to be my favorite holiday of the year-Thanksgiving! I can’t wait to spend the day in front of the TV overeating and arguing with my dad and uncles over the Steelers vs. Colts game. (My family is full of football fanatics!) These wide leg pants from Zara have just enough stretch to allow me to chow down without feeling restricted. The burnt orange color also feels really festive. I don’t have to work on Thursday but if you do, pairing these pants with a black blazer and statement necklace would be a great way to bring Thanksgiving to the office.
Looking back over the year, I realize I have a lot to be thankful for. Take time this week to reflect on what you have to be thankful for. No matter what you are going through it is always possible to find a silver lining.
