Valentine’s day is right around the corner. Whether you are preparing for a night out on the town with bae or a getting together with some friends to celebrate your perpetual singleness, it doesn’t hurt to look good in the process.
I don’t have any plans for this Valentine’s Day but just in case something pops up I’ve put together this little outfit. A girl has to be prepared! LA has been experiencing an unusual amount of rain this year so I knew a dress was definitely out of the question. I’m all for throwing on a nice pair of jeans and elevating the look with some bomb shoes and simple accessories. This look features the OTK boots I mentioned in my bomber jacket post a little while ago. Like I said before if I could wear these shoes everywhere, I would.
This duster jacket is what really makes the look. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the color rose gold. It’s a great alternative to all the red and pink that everyone will be wearing on Valentine’s Day. This duster from Boohoo has a cool sheen and the fabric flows really nicely. The day I shot this look with my photographer, the wind was blowing lightly. Every time the duster caught the wind, I felt like a superhero. Initially, I was worried that the jacket would be a bit thin but the material is actually pretty heavy. Pair this with a long sleeve shirt and you can face the brisk winter weather.
