Well, it’s official. We are in the dog days of summer. The Party City Halloween commercials are already playing on TV so obviously, fall is right around the corner. While other parts of the country are experiencing crazy weather (praying for Houston and Florida) LA is still clinging onto warm weather. This weekend I decided to pull out my favorite off the shoulder shirt and bare some skin while I still can. The shirt was a Forever 21 pick up from earlier this summer. I wasn’t planning to buy it because I felt that everyone was wearing the whole blue and white pinstripe trend out but the sleeves on this shirt made me rethink that decision. The bows are just the cutest thing to me. Sad I know!
These ripped skinny jeans I bought while thrift shopping at Goodwill. I was shocked to find out they were Fashion Nova jeans. When I found out they were my size, I knew they were coming home with me. The best part about it- they were only $10! I like them because the mesh on the upper thighs brings a little bit of sexy to the outfit without being distasteful. I thought flats would be too laid back for this look but I didn’t want to be annoyed wearing high heels. Kitten heels to the rescue! Some simple silver hoops and black purse completed the look.
