I can’t believe its already August! It feels like just a little while ago we were anxiously waiting for summer to arrive and now we are just a few weeks away from the end. Although some of you may be dreading the end of summer, I’m actually really excited about the next few weeks. When I was younger, my parents scheduled our big annual vacation for the last few weeks of the summer break before we had to go back to school. I loved it because it was kind of like the last hurrah. By the time the first week of school rolled around, I was showing up with vacay worthy new clothes and bronzed skin (yes, brown skin girls tan too)!
While my school days are long behind me, I’m super excited that I’ll be able to keep the tradition and go on vacation with my family next week. A few days out of the office with no access to my company email is just what the doctor ordered. I plan to walk back into the office a week from now with beautifully tanned skin.
